App Review – Reflections

Today’s App Review is Reflections by Squirrels LLC.

Reflections App can be downloaded onto Mac or PC and reflects your iOS device onto your laptop. I have been considering an Apple TV for some time now and given that my laptop is considered too old for the Airplay feature I couldn’t see the point in forking out that kind of money just for my iPad. I also use my VGA cable for my iPad quite a bit but it has it’s limitations if you want to move around as you are restricted by the length of the cable.

This Application wirelessly streams from your iOS device to your laptop via airplay and mirrors the screen of your device. Connect the laptop to your protector screen and there you go a super sized iPad on a screen.

For $14.99 (€10.47) it is well worth it especially given the cost of Apple TV’s ($99 / €109) and iPad VGA  connectors ($19 / €29)

The App also works with iPhones/ iPods which are otherwise incompatible with VGA connectors.
