App Review – Colored Folder Creator

Today’s App Review is Colored Folder Creator by Stephen Colbran.

I am taking a break from iOS Apps again to bring you this really cool Mac App. I am forever changing my desktop wallpapers, cursor shape, dock color and folder designs but what really takes time is finding the right folder icons and finding enough to suit my large collection of folders. Once you find the folder images you then have to manually change them. It becomes quite a chore and so I only do it a couple of times a year.

Colored Folder Creator is a great folder design editor. The App come with hundreds of different designs from animal prints to textures, scenery and more and it is hard to choose just one or two. All you have to do is select the image and it will ask you to choose the folder you wish to change and there you go magic it is done.

The only downside to the App is that the folders appearance only changes if they are on the desktop. So if you have a folder within a folder it has to remain the traditional blue.

Other than this I think the App is really good overall but I would really like that issue to be fixed in future upgrades.
