App Review – Go Class

Today’s App review is Go Class by Learning mate solutions.

To first use the app educators have to register with Go Class after this they can upload information, share images and sources with students. Students need be registered also and this registration must include their names, student ID number and email. Because I didn’t want to share my students details with a third party I decided to make up a few and gave the App a go.

The concept is similar to that of iTunes U courses without the functionality of adding as much material or sources. The organization feature  is fair and there is a lesson plan feature which is good. For educators who may not be using a source like this already I would recommend giving it a go but it is just surplus for anyone already using iTunes U or similar.
