App Review – WWF Together

Today’s App Review is WWF Together by the World Wildlife Fund.

I really like Apps like National Geographic and this App by WWF is graphically amazing. The App contains information on the many animals that it works towards saving from Snow Leopards to Elephants and more including Gorillas are coming soon.

Once you select your animal you get a large image of that animal and scrolling around the screen you can choose to find out facts about the animal as well as a gallery of image. Did you know that a Tiger has 100 stripes?

The App makes the most of the multi-touch gestures of the iPad and the graphics are among the best I have seen. The App is great to raise awareness for the WWF and the work they do but also a great and fun learning tool for animal lovers of all ages. My favorite feature is an interactive globe which tells you exactly how far away you are from the selected species.

The only downside of the App is that it is over 500mb so you will have to wait a bit for it to download but take my word it is well worth the wait!
